At MystiManic we care for the Planet! 


We walk on the same planet, and we share her resources as the human collective. We have the responsibility to honour her and ensure that she has the best future ahead. As a business, we are committed to preserve her life as well as all animate an inanimate being that she hosts.


Our first commitment has been to ally our force with 1% for the Planet which ensures that we make a monetary contribution to our environment. In fact, we have committed to give 1% of all our sales to 1% for the Planet. Concretely, this means that 1% of your purchase goes to the well-being of our environment through 1% for the Planet.

Following this commitment, here are the concrete actions that we have chosen to implement in our executive decisions and operations:


All products are made-to-order or digital. Which means:

  1. Reducing energy resource consumption for storing a big inventory.
  2. Reducing overproducing and overstock.
  3. Reducing waste by limiting production to what the customer needs.
  4. All our digital products have ZERO impact on the CO2 emissions in the atmosphere.
  5. We do not use AI software that has been recognized to consume precious environmental resources. 

We ship from the closest warehouse to our customers. Which means:

  • A closer warehouse or shipping location reduces CO2 emissions in the atmosphere.
  • We try to ship from the closest location of the shipping address, but it is not always possible. Some items are only available at certain warehouses. So, you can receive your items in separate shipment.

We use eco-friendly ink as much as possible:

  • Our suppliers use ecological printing inks as much as possible and water-based inks to reduce the environmental impact on the planet.


We create with minimalist or low-ink designs in mind:

  • We design our products with the planet in mind. We use minimalist graphics, line art methods and fewer colours to reduce the ink usage and energy consumption during the printing process.
  • This way our designs age better, feel timeless and are less likely to end up in a landfill.

We offer Eco-Friendly Fabric options for our apparel. Here are the current options available:

A. 100% organic cotton T-shirts and their positive impact on the environment:

  • Keep millions of pounds of chemicals out of the environment.
  • Create healthier working conditions for farmers and agricultural workers.
  • Do not depend on chemical pesticides (poisons), synthetic fertilizers, or genetically engineered ingredients.
  • Reduce global warming.  Organic farms pull CO2 out of the atmosphere as much as three times the rate of conventional farming practices and release less CO2 into the atmosphere because it does not rely on chemical fertilizers and herbicides (Rodale Institute, 2008).
  • Promote biodiversity.  Insect and bird life have been found to be as much as 50% greater on organic farms than conventional farms (UK Soil Association, 2000).

B. 100% recycled fabric T-shirts and their positive impact on the environment:

  • Reduced water consumption in fabric agriculture.
  • Decreased the use of pesticides on biodiversity.
  • Diminish the demands for new lands, which preserve valuable ecosystems and biodiversity.
  • Reduced waste production by extending the life of the material.
  • Promote healthy circular economy where the material is reused and repurposed.

C. Low environmental impact activewear T-shirt (Sorona® fabric) and their benefits:

  • It reduces the environmental impact compared to traditional cotton and polyester, using less energy and water in production.
  • It is a partially plant-based fibre made from renewable corn starch, offering a lower environmental impact than traditional synthetic fibres.
  • 37% of its composition comes from renewable crops like corn glucose. Unlike petroleum-based synthetics, it reduces dependence on fossil fuels and cuts down greenhouse gas emissions.

 

We chose to minimize our packaging by using the strict minimum required in the industry, which means:

  • You won’t have “Thank you!” cards in your package. It helps reduce the production of paper and waste.
  • You will find only the essentials tags on your apparel.
  • We will prioritize digital documents over printed paper documents.
