MystiManic is a Canadian apparel brand for people drawn to the darker side of the sacred: mythology, the occult, and the mystery of life. Every design is original artwork, printed on quality eco-conscious garments, and made-to-order.

What does MystiManic mean?

You won't find it in your dictionary. It is a word created by combining the words "mystique" and "mania."

"Mystique" is French and refers to the mystery of life. It is everything that brings wonder and touches the spiritual realm.

"Mania" comes from the ancient Greek. It speaks of enthusiasm, frenzy and burning passion. In essence, it means an elevated state of being.

Together they mean being immensely passionate about life and its mysteries.

The story behind the brand

MystiManic started with one person, a sketchbook, and a lifelong fascination with the unseen. A couple of mystical experiences later, an insatiable need to create and a deep moment of inspiration propelled me to build MystiManic. One question stayed with me the whole time: "How far can we go in the unknown?"

The answer still eludes me to this day. The deeper you go, the more answers and inspiration you'll find.

I create from Québec, where the wheel of seasons turns in front of the St. Lawrence River. I prefer to let my work speak for me, and I invite you to ride the wave of mystery with me.

Our Art

Our designs draw on mythology, spiritual symbolism, and the darker side of beauty: gods and goddesses, legends, folklore and archetypes that have fascinated people for thousands of years. Every piece is drawn by hand. We never use AI to create our artwork.

We design with minimal line work and fewer colours on purpose. That uses less ink to print, and it gives each piece a timeless look.

How your piece is made

Every item is made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is overproduced. When you place an order, our partners' print studios in the United States and China print and ship your items from the nearest studio that makes it.

Because some items are only made at certain locations, a multi-item order may arrive in separate packages. That's normal.

We choose heavyweight, durable fabrics, because a garment you wear for years is the most sustainable one. We keep our fabric choices on the thicker side, between 240 and 400 GSM.

Our environmental commitments

1% for the Planet: we give 1% of every sale to environmental causes through the 1% for the Planet network.

Raven Trust: We fundraise for Raven, a Canadian charity that helps Indigenous Nations defend their rights and protect the Canadian landscape by giving a fixed amount of money on each selected product.

Sorona® fabric: our activewear uses a partly plant-based fibre that needs less energy and water to make than regular polyester. Learn more about Sorona fabric .

Minimal packaging: only essential tags, no printed thank-you cards, and we use digital documents whenever possible.
